About The Position

Key Role: Support U.S. Government teams performing testing and evaluation of military armaments and ammunition. Assist in the assessment of materiel specification criteria, identification of data acquisition requirements, and development of testing schedules and cost estimates. Participate in the hands-on execution of test activities. Review Safety Assessment Reports to determine capabilities and limitations to support item testing requirements and test range safety factors. Support the design, construction, and operation of specialized test facilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading test engineers, working with government organizations to develop test requirements and plans, and coordinating test facilities to successfully execute that testing
  • Knowledge of the design, construction, and operation of specialized test facilities
  • Ability to develop detailed test plans, including schedules, cost estimates, and safety assessments, and test reports
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders and dignitaries
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Office, MS Teams, and MS Project
  • Experience developing operational and safety Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs), Letter of Instructions (LOIs), Hazardous Analysis, and Situational Awareness Reports (SARs)
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Level III Army Acquisition Corps Certified for Test and Evaluation, Engineering, and Project Management Certification
