About The Position

Test Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a test engineer on our team, you’ll work with testers, developers, and engineers as part of a team evaluating software developed for national defense. You’ll help develop a test plan with test cases based on user stories. You’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of systems. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and advancing support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
• 5+ years of experience with designing network architecture and creating network architecture products to support testing
• 5+ years of experience coordinating, planning, conducting, and reporting findings of lab-based testing efforts
• 5+ years of experience with agile testing
• 5+ years of experience with layer 2 and layer 3 networking
• 5+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security equipment and solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with routers, switches, and protocols utilized within DoD SATCOM
• 5+ years of experience with classified networks
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DoD networks
• Experience with STIGing or security hardening of systems
• Experience with Software Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN)
• Experience documenting complex network and security systems and procedures to implement and troubleshoot such systems
