Are you passionate about robotics and eager to learn how complex systems are tested and validated? Do you enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving across both hardware and software? As a Test Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the testing and verification of our robotic systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to run tests, analyze results, and improve testing processes for both software and hardware components. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in robotics testing while contributing to the development of reliable, real-world robotic solutions. Join us to reimagine the future of human-robot interaction. This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters. This is a full-time, 6-month internship, with a flexible start date. The application deadline for this role is January 11th, 2026. Interviews will take place mid-late January 2026.

  • Assist in designing, developing, and running tests for our robotics software stack.
  • Help test hardware components and subassemblies in the lab.
  • Support verification and validation efforts for robotic systems.
  • Contribute to test and process automation under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Document test results and help improve test coverage and reliability.
  • Currently pursuing an engineering degree (e.g., Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or similar.)
  • Exposure to programming through coursework, projects, clubs, or internships.
  • Familiarity with Python or C++ (academic or personal projects are fine.)
  • Interest in robotics, hardware, and/or software testing.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a hands-on environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on a small, collaborative team.
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience writing software that interacts with hardware (labs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, robots, etc.).
  • Participation in robotics clubs, competition teams, or personal engineering projects.
