About The Position

AMDEX.ai is seeking a Test Engineer Level II to join our team in Bethesda, MD. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, product managers, and development resources during the sprint planning phase to ensure a clear understanding of the scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria. The Test Engineer will create test plans outlining the sprint cycles and resource allocation within Azure DevOps, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. The position requires designing test cases based on user stories to verify functionality, performance, and security, as well as generating test data and maintaining test environments of various configurations. The successful candidate will execute test cases using both automated and manual methods, document defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues, ensuring quality deliverables. Participation in Agile ceremonies and providing input to refine testing processes and methodologies is also expected. Additionally, the role includes documenting test results, defects, and test coverage within Azure DevOps, creating and maintaining test documentation, and generating summary reports for stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations. Performance and security testing are also key components of this role, requiring the design and execution of performance tests to assess system scalability and performance, as well as assisting with security testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-4 years of experience.
• Experience developing test plans and associated documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or related tool.

Responsibilities
