This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

  • Support production with troubleshooting and debug of electro-mechanical assemblies, working directly with technicians and design engineering personnel.
  • Manually debug complex microwave assemblies and sub-assemblies in support of production and engineering prototyping efforts.
  • Develop process improvements to improve quality, cost and schedule.
  • Assist production team developing tune patterns to allow modules to meet specifications without extensive tuning reducing HPU’s.
  • Support systems engineering with debug and evaluation of system returns.
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to engineers in the development or modification of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies in the MW factory.
  • Feedback test process problems to engineering as necessary.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability in isolating electrical failures to root cause
  • Proficient at interpreting engineering documentation including but not limited to schematics, assembly drawings, and component data sheets
  • Familiarity with test equipment and calibration process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of RF and Microwave subassemblies
  • Active Secret level U.S. security clearance
  • Familiar with RF instrumentation (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources), and the control of hardware through software interfaces (automated test sequence)
