As part of the EE Systems Integration team, we will collectively be responsible for assuring that electrical, electronic, and mechatronic systems are integrated and tested into systems and vehicles with a maximum of reliability and performance. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for operating a dynamometer and executing a defined test plan on vehicle-representative electrical test assets. You will work with system owners, firmware developers, technicians and other test engineers to design and operate Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test assets. In this role, you will: Be trained to operate our dynamometer (dyno) to simulate driving conditions and trigger electrical fault injection on our HIL electrical test assets Execute electrical test cases (following test plan) on various systems (lighting, thermal, charging, powertrain, perception, safety, etc.) on both static and dynamic test assets Maintain, develop, and automate further functionality of existing HIL testing environments Work cross functionally with various teams to understand Firmware releases, fixes and system compatibility Work with test requesters to assure successful system and sub-system performance Perform first level of troubleshooting when a test fails or doesn’t perform as expected Setup data-logging hardware such as CANalyzer to capture and analyze CAN messages and logs to provide detailed information of test results Flash firmware on vehicle components with changes and updates trackingTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
