About The Position

We are seeking a Test Engineer with expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System-Level Testing (SLT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing test strategies for semiconductor and optical components. Experience with optics-based testing is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of Industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, LTX, etc.).
  • Experience in SLT, functional testing, and debug at the system level.
  • Proficiency in programming test scripts (Python, C/C++, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor testing methodologies, test coverage, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with JTAG, boundary scan, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, PCIe, etc.).
  • Experience in failure analysis, yield improvement, and test optimization.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in optics/photonics testing (lasers, modulators, optical transceivers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of optical instrumentation (power meters, spectrum analyzers, interferometers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with high-speed signal integrity and RF testing.
  • Experience in data visualization tools for test analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and optimize ATE and SLT test programs for production and validation.
  • Work closely with design, product, and validation teams to define and implement test requirements.
  • Analyze test data to improve yield, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain test patterns and test methodologies for different device types.
  • Support JTAG, boundary scan, and other digital/analog test interfaces.
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure test coverage and debug failures.
  • Automate data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide failure analysis and debug support for both production and engineering samples.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and efficiency.
  • If applicable, develop and execute optics-based testing methodologies for integrated photonics or optical components.
