About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Test Engineer to support the development of Test Program Sets (TPS) for Army aviation systems. The ideal candidate will assist in software and hardware integration, diagnostics, and documentation efforts in a lab environment. As a Junior Test Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Perform routine design and test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. Develop diagnostic routines using object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, ATLAS). Assist with writing basic test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications. Work with software development and translation tools to support TPS development. Design interconnect hardware (ITAs, ICDs, and custom cabling) for test systems. Integrate and test TPSs in a lab environment to validate performance. Interpret Test Requirements Documents (TRDs) to design and implement tests. Draft Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in response to Quality Deficiency Reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders. Travel occasionally to support testing and integration efforts.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Coursework or experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
