About The Position

As a Test Driver / Vehicle Operator with Data Collection, you’ll play a critical role in advancing autonomous vehicle technology by safely driving test vehicles, collecting operational data, and supporting engineers in refining driving systems.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic vehicle knowledge.
• No moving violations in the past 12 months; no DUIs or criminal record.
• Comfortable driving for long periods (4–8 hours per day).
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
• Must be able to work onsite at both Mountain View and San Francisco locations.
• Flexible to work either AM or PM shifts and either shift schedule (Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu).

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes while strictly following safety protocols.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after operation.
• Support software operations to ensure accurate real-time data collection.
• Document and report observations, issues, and anomalies during test runs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance.
• Assist with logistics, vehicle storage, and light maintenance.
