About The Position

The Test Driver position at Kett Engineering involves working part-time on the 2nd shift, primarily focused on conducting vehicle evaluations and driving tests as part of a research and development program. Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years.
• No points, major traffic citations, or accidents in the past three years.
• No alcohol-related violations on driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Able to pass a written driving test and a road driving test.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time.
• Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and in writing.
• Follow directions and execute tasks reliably.
• Maintain good attendance and complete required trainings.
• Have a positive attitude and contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a full vehicle evaluation and report for each vehicle during assigned shift.
• Drive on designated routes for 8 - 10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
• Participate in all vehicle testing, including driving and designated special tests.
• Operate vehicles safely, obeying all traffic laws.
• Maintain safety and security procedures during driving tasks.
• Drive comfortably in inclement weather.
