About The Position

The System Test Design Lead (TDL) champions product calibration and test strategy while balancing tradeoffs between quality / customer experience and operational requirements (assembly/test processes and costs). The TDL integrates with various teams across design, software, and operations on new product definition to enable product characterization and provide efficient test solutions for high volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, EE/CE.
• 5-10 years experience.
• Excellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with FMEA and FA processes - root-cause investigations of issues and recommendations for design improvements.
• Prior experience with integration of technologies such as acoustics, sensing (motion, touch), transducers, imaging, displays, electrical interconnect and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, etc.).
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods.
• Engineering build leadership, ownership for factory cal/test strategy and bringup interfacing with factory teams.
• Outstanding problem solving ability.
• Prior technical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead convergence & maturity of the product calibration & test line through all system builds phases.
• Identify potential risks and develop product protection solutions / risk assessments where needed.
