About The Position

This position involves monitoring construction activities for test bed facilities, test articles, test tunnels, and test support facilities while evaluating matters related to schedule updates, work in progress, potential issues and resolutions, quality assurance on quality control measures, and performance of the performer. The role requires gathering all pertinent information on behalf of the Government while monitoring a construction project and submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports with recommendations to address any issues concerning schedule, safety, engineering and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school & minimum of 8 years of engineering construction management experience
• US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Control Management for Contractors certification
• OSHA 30-hour certification or EM-385 40-hour certification
• PMP Certified
• US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Responsibilities

• Monitor test bed, test article, test tunnel, and test support facilities construction activities
• Submit quality assurance reports covering schedule updates, work in progress, potential issues and resolutions, quality assurance on quality control measures, and contractor performance
• Gather all pertinent information on behalf of the Government during construction project monitoring
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Make recommendations to address issues concerning schedule, safety, engineering and Quality Assurance
