QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must have at least two trained, sound, and athletic horses in the necessary level of fitness capable of supporting an outrider in his duties Farm and/or horse related experiences Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge of the rules and regulations as specified in the OHRC rule rook. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES: To assist in taking urine samples from horses after a race, this is requested by the stewards. Change water buckets after each sample is taken to prevent contamination of samples. If a urine sample cannot be taken, then a blood sample is required. Each sample is labeled and sent to the lab for testing. General clean-up of the test barn area Qualifications
