About The Position

The Test Automation Engineer will design and deliver test systems for electronic products, develop requirements from scratch, and design multi-layer PCBs to build Automated Test Equipment (ATE). The role involves identifying gaps in test coverage, designing hardware and software test solutions, and defining test plans for new products and features. The engineer will execute hands-on testing and rework of PCBA and electrical components, and design next-generation test automation hardware systems for fast and repeatable product testing.

Requirements

Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
Schematic capture and circuit design.
Circuit analysis and layouts.
Programming and scripting skills, with LabView as the primary tool.
Proficiency in Python, C++, or other programming software.
Experience in building automated test stations and using equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Nice To Haves

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout, preferably using Altium.
Ability to develop 8+ layer PCBs through the entire product lifecycle.
Experience in managing product lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, integration, and deployment.
Capability to develop test and validation strategies from component level to system level.
