About The Position
The QA Automation Engineer role is responsible for testing software applications with a focus on quality and reliability. They are responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions and strategies within their team. They will work closely with their agile team and participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to developing acceptance criteria, create test cases and test scripts needed for successful execution of manual and automated functional tests. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved prior to release. The testing on this team will primarily deal with API and UI testing.
