Test and Validation Engineers develop and improve test processes analyzing product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes to support customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams and provide technical direction for the test and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and test equipment. Requirements

• Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• 1 year of testing experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Test requirements interpretation, Schematic diagram interpretation, knowledge of operating commercial test equipment for test and troubleshooting

• Proven written and oral communication, including presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word), statistical evaluation tools (SPC, data distribution analysis) and shop floor tools (PRISM, PDM, CMES)
• Master's degree preferred
• Active DoD security clearance (secret)
• Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)

Responsibilities

• Developing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including test instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs
• Working with test development engineers on new or existing test hardware and software
• Supporting manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP, providing technical support to testing of production hardware and maintenance of test equipment
• Dispositioning non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required
• Driving Continuous Improvement to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data driven decision making
