What You Will Do Support a fluid production environment in a test engineering role on the PATRIOT radar program. Troubleshoot complex radar level issues on subsystems such as Receiver, Exciter, Transmitter, Antenna, and Power. Work from schematics and drawings to understand radar diagnostic failures and troubleshoot utilizing common test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, etc. Perform root cause analysis on systemic radar issues and flow back to feeder areas to help in the troubleshooting of failed subassemblies. Work diligently with union technicians on a daily basis throughout the test process. Interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding most urgent immediate needs in test. Review system level test data for compliancy toward specifications. Interact with maintenance/test department to keep test stations fully functional. Develop/update factory test procedures as needed. Overtime (paid) may be required on an as needed basis.
