About The Position

The Group Manager is responsible for the execution, health, and growth of the Test and Analysis Group’s (TAG) execution and growth and will provide leadership in three key areas for one of Radiance’s six primary profit-and-loss business units. These include: Operations Engage customers often to ensure customer satisfication and relationships Manage daily operations and organization-wide initiatives for a diverse and geographically-separated group of 132 employee-owners Employee-owner engagement and growth Employee-owner recognition (raise, bonus, awards) Business Performance Management (Profit and Loss and other key performance indicators) Organizational structure Staffing/recruiting Budgeting/forecasting Direct Staff guidance, including administrative, business development, program management, and group leadership personnel Research and gather information to support executive-level taskings Proactively engage with senior executives, action officers, and other stakeholders Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports Adherence to Radiance core values Business Development Adhere and align with HHQ strategy to move up the value chain and expand the customer base Efficient and aligned corporate growth Strategy development and execution Pipeline development and tracking Industry and customer relationship sustainment Developing pricing strategies, price-to-win, and should-cost activities Proposal development including the preparation and review of technical and cost volumes Coordination with other Radiance business units Develop/nurture group technical capabilities Leadership Development Coaching Mentoring Collaborate on corporate training initiatives Identifying and growing future leadership Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a higher clearance
  • Effective communication
  • Customer/Industry Relationship development experience
  • Effective multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated personnel management
  • Travel: 25%
  • At least 15 years of relevant DoD or military experience with 5 years of management/leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with SMDC, and other Redstone Arsenal customers and related business development
  • Experience understanding, tracking, and achieving key performance indicators (timesold, revenue, profit, direct labor, indirect labor, non-labor expenditures)
  • Experience executing leadership of personnel at multiple geographically-separated locations
  • Experience integrating technical staff expertise into capture activities
  • Experience with technology and software development
