Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or demonstrated interest in building a career in sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent within the assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field is preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, builders, and distribution partners across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and distributors to promote and sell RLS products and services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing product expertise, support, and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and relationship-building activities with existing partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support strategic sales planning.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to sales activity, territory performance, and market conditions.
  • Manage sales documentation including quotes, orders, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within CRM systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to support product delivery, installation coordination, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training to strengthen sales skills, product knowledge, and industry awareness.
