About The Position

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving machine sales within an assigned territory, developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and promoting Gulf Coast JCB’s full range of equipment and services.

Requirements

  • Industry experience desired (equipment, rental, agriculture, heavy equipment, etc.).
  • Prior service, parts, or sales experience in a dealership or rental environment.
  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license required.
  • High energy, strong communication, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass drug screenings and background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Territory management experience preferred.
  • Leadership potential for future advancement.
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships and establish trust with customers.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
  • Provide technical information, quotes, and product explanations.
  • Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, financing, and rental policies.
  • Follow up on quotes to maximize close rates.
  • Serve as primary liaison with assigned accounts.
  • Maintain consistent communication through visits and calls.
  • Enter all customer information, opportunities, and orders in CRM.
  • Provide post-sale support and assist with issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
  • Support customer retention efforts and address concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries with operations.
  • Keep showroom, displays, and equipment clean and presentable.
  • Maintain CRM database (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Support marketing initiatives, demos, and customer events.
  • Collaborate with service, parts, and operations for seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of JCB equipment features and benefits.
  • Stay informed on competitor products and market conditions.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine questions for customers when needed.
