About The Position

The Territory Sales Representative at Benco Dental is responsible for driving sales of dental merchandise, equipment, technology, and services. This role involves soliciting new business, maintaining customer relationships, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The representative will work independently while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to achieve sales goals and promote Benco's offerings effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience.
  • Possess a dependable vehicle and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel in assigned territory daily as required for customers, vendors, and business meetings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Experience in the dental industry or related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.

Responsibilities

  • Travel and make regular face-to-face sales calls to maintain customer relationships and sales business.
  • Lead sales activities with assigned customers and develop strategies to support business goals and sales growth.
  • Prospect to drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals by adding new buying accounts and developing new customer relationships.
  • Co-travel with equipment specialists and vendors to uncover opportunities and conduct presentations.
  • Develop a plan to achieve personal and regional goals for company-wide promotions.
  • Participate in all sales meetings, dental conventions, team building events, and sales training as required.
  • Identify business needs of clients and leverage Benco's offerings to assist them with a customer-first approach.
  • Stay updated on dental industry trends, market dynamics, and product and service offerings.
  • Utilize technology and data tools for effective sales calls, opportunities, activity, presentations, and efficient scheduling/follow-up.
