About The Position

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for traveling throughout target regions to present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. This role involves preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to meet or exceed sales margin goals, initiating the sales process by scheduling appointments, making presentations, and understanding customer account requirements. The representative will follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts. Maintaining sales materials, current product knowledge, and vendor relations is essential, along with maintaining monthly pipeline communication with management and reviewing monthly sales reports. The representative will also expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services, establish and maintain client relationships, and work with customer and company staff to establish new accounts. Identifying and resolving client concerns, preparing status reports, and communicating new product opportunities are also key responsibilities. Participation in marketing events and supporting corporate programs and initiatives is expected, along with following up for collection of payment and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Must live within 60 miles
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal background
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work weekends as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word programs
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Dynamic Personality

Responsibilities

  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
  • Provide support and feedback as it relates to internal department leaders
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
  • Follow up for collection of payment and address and resolve customer concerns timely
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager
