In this position, you will be responsible for the achievement of our HOFFMAN outside sales quota in Nebraska and Iowa, focusing on Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. You will manage relationships with customers and distributors to understand their requirements and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs. This includes handling sophisticated accounts with multiple collaborators and potentially multiple locations. You will develop and implement a sales strategy that focuses on the channel, end-users, and installers that enables territory management and sales growth. Continuously scanning for prospects with current or new customers to achieve new sales, expanding offerings within the account, and populating the account pipeline consistently and on a timely basis is essential. You will provide continual updates via CRM on account and conversion status of target accounts, respond to customer questions, and provide follow-up to assure resolution. Understanding current market relationships and partnerships and maintaining knowledge of competitors' activities throughout the assigned territory is crucial. You will demonstrate high team engagement and alignment to the nVent values.
