About The Position

As a Territory Sales Representative 1, you will be responsible for the functions outlined below.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 2-4 years of related experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
  • Self-driven excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of firearm safety and function.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and company leadership.
  • Travel requirements: 45-65% of the year.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
  • Develop a strong business plan to increase dealer sales within your assigned territory.
  • Meet with customers face to face in the territory to conduct product demonstrations and exhibitions.
  • Develop training materials and schedules for dealers within your assigned territory.
  • Work with Inside Sales Team to maximize efficiency while traveling.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearm laws.
  • Conduct in store events at a minimum of 3 times per month.
  • Maintain up to date sales history for all assigned accounts within your territory.
  • Maintain open order reports for all assigned accounts within your territory.
  • Maintain assigned company equipment.
  • Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment.
  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
