About the position

Diablo Tools is expanding its MEP sales team and is looking for an extroverted, highly motivated, and driven territory sales manager with 2-4 years of sales experience. The primary responsibility is to gain 100% market share within your categories, channels, and markets and to implement strategic approaches to deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales numbers. This position offers a tremendous career track in sales and marketing focused on development and growth for employees. Basic knowledge of construction products and power tools is not necessary, as Diablo Tools provides a world-class, hands-on sales and product training program for all candidates regardless of previous experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gain 100% market share within assigned categories, channels, and markets.
  • Implement strategic approaches to deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales numbers.
  • Develop programs and sales strategies for key dealers within assigned territory.
  • Plan for monthly, quarterly, and yearly growth while staying within T&E budget.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities including scheduling, placing orders, and developing presentations.
  • Build sustainable territory to achieve assigned goals and metrics outlined by the manager.
  • Travel overnight up to 5-10 days per month to meet customers and develop territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Business/Marketing or related field required, or 8 years of commensurate experience.
  • 2-4 years of sales experience within assigned territories.
  • Proven effective communication skills with corporate staff, sales organization, and customers.
  • Basic product knowledge of power tools and accessories.
  • Basic understanding of sales strategies, processes, and approaches.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype, etc.).
