About the position

The Territory Sales Professional for Cutting Tools is a regional sales role focused on driving growth and expanding market share in the Pasadena, TX area. This position requires a strong background in technical sales, particularly within the oil and gas sectors, and involves managing existing client accounts while developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will work independently, utilizing their technical aptitude to provide solutions to customers in a consultative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new end user customers and manage existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales.
  • Optimize sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support.
  • Conduct territory planning, sales administrative activities, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role.
  • Strong background in territory sales skills with experience in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required.
  • Technical aptitude in metal cutting and experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
  • Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish to work with a diverse client base.
