About The Position

Crystal Creamery is currently hiring a Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution, and strengthening customer partnerships throughout the Fresno to Bakersfield market. This role leads both new business development and the growth of existing accounts, ensuring Crystal Creamery’s full product portfolio is effectively represented and competitively positioned across the territory. Success in this position requires a strong balance of strategic selling, hands-on field execution, pricing discipline, and the ability to navigate a dynamic and competitive dairy marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in CPG, food, beverage, or dairy
  • Proven ability to grow territory revenue and acquire new accounts
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a geographically dispersed territory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn company systems and CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer demands
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retail and distributor partners while actively pursuing new account opportunities
  • Identify, solicit, and secure new business through proactive outreach and territory development
  • Drive full portfolio penetration by demonstrating the value of Crystal Creamery’s products and promotional programs
  • Execute pricing strategy and make competitive pricing decisions aligned with market conditions
  • Develop and implement promotional plans and merchandising initiatives to increase sales and visibility
  • Conduct store audits to evaluate product placement, pricing accuracy, rebate compliance, and competitive activity
  • Partner with distributors to strengthen performance, expand reach, and improve execution within the territory
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns and coordinate effective resolutions with internal departments
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify growth opportunities and prepare territory performance reports
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitive activity, category trends, and customer needs
  • Travel regularly throughout the Fresno to Bakersfield territory, including occasional overnight travel
