About The Position

Dura-Line is hiring a Territory Sales Manager for the Michigan and Indiana area, who will be responsible for giving sales presentations in person or virtually, working in the field on installations, working with the team on projects, and answering customer questions. This team member will work closely with District Managers, Accessories Global Business Leaders, and Product Managers to develop strategies and plans for the accessory’s product portfolio and growth initiatives within the US and Canada. This team member will work closely with District Managers, Customer Service, Accessories Global Business Leaders, and Product Managers to develop strategies and growth initiatives within the assigned territory for the conduit and accessories product portfolios. Location: Remote (Candidates must be local to Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio area)

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of engineering, technical Sales, and business development experience
  • Must be able to travel 70% of the time and have experience working individually/remotely
  • Strong analytic thinking, high level of problem-solving, attention to detail, planning/organizational and process improvement skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills - developing storytelling presentations & deliveries
  • Energetic, resilient, result-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, self-awareness, maturity, irreproachable integrity
  • Ability to communicate and influence various organizational levels of stakeholders and project team members.
  • Maintain awareness of operational and strategic priorities to effectively manager project timelines and deliverables

Nice To Haves

  • Professional industry experience and general knowledge in construction, fiber/conduit, telecom, and datacom accessories is a major plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, end users/owners, and engineering firms
  • Develop, maintain, and lead Manufacturer Reps in the territory
  • Working with multi-level teams of cross-functional employees (commercial, technical, operational aspects)
  • Working with application engineers to provide customer-appropriate technical support at the after-sale stage and provide technical/commercial proposals to a customer
  • Managing sales activities - daily/monthly/annual (quotes, RFQ/RFP, day-to-day sales activities, opportunity management, pricing, customer presentation/packet, lead creation, relation management, client visits)
  • Internal & external customer relationship management
  • Transfer of technical knowledge
