Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of field sales experience, previous management, and/or leadership experience preferred
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring others to achieve success
  • Ability to analyze sales data and understand how it drives business decisions
  • Monitoring sales plans and defined metrics to hold Sales Reps accountable
  • Ability to strategically create and execute a sales plan
  • Strong presentation skills and desire to lead change
  • Strategic mindset as new products and services are released to the marketplace
  • Dedication to providing top-notch customer service
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Effectively represent Musco, with a comprehensive understanding of Musco's products and services
  • Research each individual market within the region and identify/execute on strategies for building/sustaining/growing the business
  • Participate in hiring, training, motivating, and advising a sales team of field sales representatives
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing sales performance data, and projecting future performance
  • Work in a team environment to analyze projects with reps from a sales, business, and engineering perspective
  • Manage new product releases into the marketplace
  • Oversee negotiations on sales price with reps and agreements, including credit terms and collection
  • Conduct field rides throughout the year with each field sales representative and yearly scorecard reviews
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Oversee that pertinent regional project information and documentation in the sales database is maintained accurately and up to date
  • Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Manager to monitor needs/concerns within the territory and for allocation of resources
  • Participate in corporate meetings/conference calls as necessary
  • Seek out, review, and analyze all regional sponsorship and partnerships with key associations
