About The Position

As a Home Energy Consultant at IGS Energy, you will play a crucial role in educating potential customers about a diverse range of energy products, empowering homeowners to make informed decisions about their energy consumption. This position is centered around generating business within an assigned territory by selling natural gas, electricity, and utility line protection. You will employ a consultative selling approach to enhance customer awareness of their choices and the competitive advantages IGS Energy offers over other providers. Your goal will be to effectively communicate pricing and close sales while ensuring that every potential customer has an exceptional experience with the company. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of your sales activities using CRM technology on an iPad. Building collaborative relationships with other sales representatives will be essential to your success. You will represent the company professionally, assuring quality and accurate representation of products. The position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and results-oriented performance, as you will be working in a dynamic environment that may include outdoor exposure to various weather conditions. The standard working hours for this position are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility during certain seasons to align with daylight hours. While Saturdays may be required if sales goals are not met during the week, the company emphasizes a balanced work-life schedule.
