About The Position

The Territory Sales Associate role at Pulmonx Corporation is designed for early-career sales professionals looking to develop their skills in the medical device industry. This position focuses on supporting sales and market development activities in the West Region, specifically in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. The associate will work closely with Territory Managers and the Regional Business Director to drive revenue growth, increase product utilization, and build relationships with healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of field sales experience required.
  • Previous experience interacting with medical staff in clinical and hospital settings preferred.
  • Dynamic, customer-focused individual with technical-oriented ability.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationships and closing skills.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy/drive, and personal integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales and market development activities in designated territories.
  • Grow revenue and increase utilization in assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Business Director and Territory Managers on market awareness and utilization activities.
  • Build relationships with physicians and key staff in assigned accounts.
  • Support Territory Managers in following the Zephyr Valve Sales Process.
  • Provide case coverage as needed in the region.
  • Identify high potential referring key accounts and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop quarterly account development plans in collaboration with Territory Managers.
  • Articulate the benefits of Zephyr Valves to healthcare providers to generate patient referrals.
  • In-service and train physicians and staff on the Chartis System and Zephyr Valves.
  • Conduct market development activities targeting General Pulmonologists and Primary Care Physicians.
  • Execute market development programs with hospitals and local associations.
  • Engage key referral networks for Zephyr Valves using company databases.
  • Support Regional initiatives such as RT events and referral events.
  • Provide post-procedural communications to referring physicians on patient outcomes.
  • Document cases, sales calls, and activities in CRM.
