About The Position

The Territory Sales Associate is an outside sales position, responsible for supporting the District Sales Manager in growing and maintaining customer relationships within the Iowa territory. This individual will assist with outside sales responsibilities, account coverage, customer visits, follow-up activities, and day-to-day coordination. The role is intended to improve customer responsiveness and support sales goals by ensuring every account receives appropriate attention.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service, outside sales, or support experience
  • Drivers License

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Experience in the telecommunications or distribution industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing assigned customer accounts, as delegated by the District Sales Manager.
  • Conduct independent customer visits to support relationship building and sales activity.
  • Provide timely communication and updates to the DSM regarding customer needs, concerns, or opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes, product information, and documentation as needed to support the DSM's sales process.
  • Participate in product promotions, trade shows, training classes, and vendor presentations when requested.
  • Ensure timely reporting of customer interactions and follow-up actions using the company's CRM tools.
  • Support marketing campaigns or vendor initiatives as directed by the DSM.
  • Coordinate internally with AMs, inside sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
