To represent BDPI in a specific geographical area assigned by the company and take necessary action to attain sales objectives. Business Unit: PI - Oncology Flagship product categories represented: Ports & CVCs Mission & Marquee Biopsy Needles Navarre, PleurX and PeritX Catheters Trek Powered Bone Biopsy System Thoracentesis/Paracentesis Trays Ideal Candidate Location: Fort Worth, TX Territory coverage: Territory extends to Austin, TX Fort Worth, TX – 75% Austin, TX – 25%

Requirements

  • Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BDPI products
  • Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits.
  • Medical and surgical terminology.
  • Through understanding of needs/analysis selling.
  • Understands contract administration
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of outside sales experience (Preferred).
  • Two or more years outside sales experience or equivalency
  • Demonstrated human relation and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Device Sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
  • Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
  • Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
  • Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
  • Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
