About The Position

We’re on a mission to make a positive impact on the lives of patients living with sleep disorders by simplifying the complex process from diagnosis to treatment. The TM will identify providers that can benefit from ease of referral for sleep testing and treatment. Our consolidated approach provides at home Sleep Apnea testing, Tele Consults from a Sleep Medicine provider if indicated, and treatment management from our team of clinicians including auto PAP therapy, Dental Devices and other treatment options. BetterNight is a proud partner working with Epoch Sleep Centers / Coastal Sleep diagnostics, a New England based company with locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for home sleep testing and lab services. This Territory is well established and ready for a motivated Territory Manager to continue its success and continue to develop the provider relationships in Sleep Medicine, Specialty and Primary Care markets. BetterNight has respected roots in sleep medicine. Over 25 years ago we engineered a successful home sleep testing model. Since then, we have grown into a leader in providing PAP therapy and helping patients have a better night's sleep. Headquartered in San Diego, California, we have locations across the country and a staff of experienced professionals nationwide to meet the needs of our patients. Partnering with Epoch Sleep Centers / Coastal Sleep diagnostics, a well-established, respected brand, with the same level of excellent patient care and Sleep Medicine expertise, we continue to grow on the East Coast. The Territory Manager position is a great outside sales opportunity for an energetic, self-starter with a proven track record selling to PCP’s and specialists who refer Sleep Apnea patients for sleep diagnostic and CPAP therapy services. The right candidate will have the ability to confidently and successfully take on the challenge of building and managing a well-established market with a 50% focus on attaining new accounts in the PCP and specialists’ space. The right candidate must have current industry sales experience calling on Providers in Massachusetts markets. The Territory Manager will be employed by BetterNight but will work daily with the team at Epoch / Coastal Sleep diagnostics.

Requirements

  • Strong face to face and written communication skills are a must
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to schedule field visits for the most efficient use of time
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs and CRM software
  • Ability to drive daily through the assigned territory
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Must be able to spend at least 90% of the time on the road visiting clients.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
  • Requires a general understanding of HIPAA requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year plus selling DME or healthcare service sales is preferred
  • Applicants’ home base will be within their respective area with required 90% travel in the field

Nice To Haves

  • Previous/current Diagnostic / Equipment sales to providers i.e. CPAP and/or Home Sleep Test sales highly desirable
  • Experienced CPAP or HST sales representatives are strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, develop, and maintain new and existing physician accounts
  • Call on new and current accounts by making in person or virtual visits. (50%+ field work is required)
  • Serve as the liaison between our referral sources and members of both the Epoch Sleep Centers / Coastal Sleep diagnostics and the BetterNight team
  • Establish trusting relationships with referral partners and internal teams
  • Be responsible for the retention of key referral sources
  • Manage business objectives and meet revenue targets including new contracts plus growth and maintaining current contracts
  • Represent BetterNight at medical and industry conferences
  • Make presentations and demonstrate the use of medical devices and equipment

Benefits

  • Base Salary of $60-$70K depending on experience with an OTE of $96k and the opportunity to earn $200K or more based on a very aggressive compensation plan designed to reward over-achievement
