Territory Managers partner with independent retailers across multiple channels, including hardware stores, garden centers, drug and pharmacy retailers, specialty gift shops, hospital gift stores, and more. With over 100+ Territory Managers across North America, Evergreen is currently hiring for Columbia, SC territory, including Greenville, Aiken, Hilton Head, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and surrounding areas. You are a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working with independent retailers and takes pride in helping them curate assortments that inspire their customers. You have an eye for trend, merchandising, and product storytelling, and you’re energized by bringing newness to market throughout the year. You think like an entrepreneur, treating your territory as your own business. Requirements

  • Adapts quickly and embraces change, introducing new product lines up to four times per year.
  • Manages and grows a portfolio of 100+ accounts independently
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on territory growth
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-term retail partnerships
  • Follows Evergreen’s Territory Manager playbook, including best practices and daily habits for success
  • Is motivated by performance-based income through salary, commission, and bonuses.
  • Can work both face to face in retailers location and remotely via Teams. We look for a 80/20 split based on the customer base.
  • Is comfortable using social media and proficient in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, OneDrive)
  • Is self-reliant, even-keeled, intellectually curious, and growth-minded

Responsibilities

  • Plan your week using a proven, process-driven playbook to maximize time in market
  • Visit independent retailers to present new collections, review assortments, and identify growth opportunities
  • Introduce trend-forward product lines and seasonal programs throughout the year
  • Partner with retailers on merchandising, storytelling, and in-store strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships while growing your active account base
  • Manage a portfolio of 100+ accounts and prospect new opportunities within your territory
  • Use digital tools, CRM, and reporting to track progress, plan future visits, and stay connected
  • Attend Evergreen market events, showroom visits, and seasonal summits to stay ahead of trends
  • End the day knowing that consistent execution of the process leads to consistent results
