We are currently seeking a full-time Territory Manager to join our team. RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply, founded in 1985, is a second generation family owned heavy equipment dealership with locations in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. We are the preferred Komatsu and Takeuchi dealers in the Midwest. We provide a variety of machinery to our customers and exciting opportunities for our employees to work, grow, and succeed. Requirements

  • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision, capable of setting priorities and acting on them
  • Able to effectively negotiate and close deals
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in territory management and sales
  • Able to travel in and out of territory as needed for training or events
  • Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or equipment industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Market and sell new and used equipment solutions, nurturing long-term customer relationships to drive satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our expert teams to deliver a superior customer experience
  • Optimize current accounts, pursue new business aggressively, and utilize systems to conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges
  • Maintain a professional image, conduct field demonstrations, and stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions
