About The Position

Sales Engineer/ Sales Representative / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Representative required to join a growing global leader in packaging machine technology, and cover their Las Vegas territory and base. This will also look at someone to travel in California, New Mexico and Arizona. Sales Engineer/ Sales Representative / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Representative will come from an Automation background and ideally from the food and beverage industry. This role is more about the individual, being a hunter for new business and self sufficient in their territory. You will be reporting into the Sales Director, who will teach and develop on the technical aspect and the companies bespoke products. Package $80,000 - $100,000 base + OTE

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging) or equivalent technical field.
3+ years in technical sales or applications engineering within packaging automation, material handling, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of automation equipment, including conveyors, baggers, fillers, robots, and line integration.
Experience with sales processes (FAT/SAT), quoting systems, and technical documentation.
Based in Las Vegas territory and base. This will also look at someone to travel in California, New Mexico and Arizona.

Responsibilities

Understand client needs and develop custom proposals integrating weighing, filling, bagging, cartoning, case forming, conveying, palletizing, and related automation
Work closely with territory managers to qualify leads, present solutions, and support both pre- and post-sales stages—including equipment demos and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Create detailed technical proposals and cost estimates, collaborating with engineering and finance to ensure accuracy and profitability.
Support system startup and commissioning, providing operation and troubleshooting training alongside field service teams
Stay informed on packaging trends (e.g., food, pharmaceutical, consumer goods) and leverage knowledge to develop business in new and existing markets
