About The Position

We are seeking a driven Sales Consultant to manage and grow a portfolio of medical products within the acute care setting. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and driving product adoption across hospital systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical sales background, understands complex hospital dynamics, and thrives in a competitive, quota-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of successful healthcare sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a competitive environment
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Ability to navigate complex hospital systems and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Experience managing large accounts and prioritizing territory opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory (~20%)

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quota within a defined territory
  • Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across hospital accounts
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including evaluation, product trials, contracting, and implementation
  • Maintain and grow existing business through strong account management and customer relationships
  • Execute marketing initiatives and support regional/national sales strategies
  • Implement and manage contractual agreements within assigned accounts
  • Provide consistent reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends
  • Partner with distribution channels and internal sales support teams to drive territory success
  • Conduct product in-services, education, and training for clinical and administrative stakeholders
