The Territory Manager is a critical team member that is part of our West Region Commercial Sales team. This position is remote based and will be responsible for customers within and around the Clark County Nevada & Greater Phoenix market.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma OR GED is required.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience with technical and professional knowledge of the commercial roofing industry is required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong computer skills including Google Business Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic and able to present well to large groups.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience in the building material industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree is highly Preferred.
  • Multi-channel experience selling roofing materials to distributor, contractor, lumber dealer, two step, design professional, commercial property owner, retail & Co-Ops is ideal.
  • Experience with SalesForce, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Pinpoint market opportunities with contractors, distribution, design professionals, retail, and co-ops; with the mindset to build lasting and meaningful relationships.
  • Own, progress and close the sales funnel, turning potential opportunities to closed wins, through value-selling the benefits of GAF products and services.
  • Display strong negotiating tactics by leveraging value propositions and pricing strategies.
  • Compile reporting to highlight hits, misses, learning, competitive landscape and strategic next steps; proactively identifying opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Influence the building materials industry; constantly networking to become a trusted advisor to existing and potential customers.
  • Engage and educate customers with insight and product knowledge via distributor/contractor meetings.
  • Make your presence known at customer shows, conventions and other industry related activities.
  • Utilize social media to gain further insight in the market and communicate with customers.
