Call or text directly. Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a high-performing surgical sales professional for a Territory Manager role covering West Michigan. POSITION OVERVIEW This role focuses on selling hernia mesh and staple reinforcement devices directly into the operating room, working closely with General and Plastic Surgeons. The position requires strong clinical credibility, case coverage experience, and the ability to influence surgeon preference in a competitive environment. TERRITORY • Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Traverse City, and NW Indiana • Candidates must be based in Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo COMPENSATION • Base Salary: $145K–$155K • OTE: $190K–$210K • Bonus + Stock ownership • First-year income guarantee • Company car provided

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of surgical device sales experience
  • MUST have experience selling into General Surgery and/or Plastic Surgery
  • MUST have procedural / OR-based product experience
  • MUST have case coverage experience (leading cases independently)
  • Experience with surgeon preference products
  • Strong relationships within hospital OR environments
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Must reside in Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo area
  • Strong communication and clinical acumen
  • Ability to operate in a high-performance surgical sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Sell surgical products in the operating room environment
  • Provide case coverage and technical support during procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff
  • Drive surgeon preference and product adoption
  • Manage and grow territory revenue
  • Travel approximately 3 nights per month
