About The Position

As a Territory Manager, you will drive growth and customer loyalty across your assigned territory. You’ll represent Wesco Turf in a professional manner, building long-term relationships with municipalities, sports field accounts, purchasing agents, directors, and decision-makers. Your focus will be on delivering solutions, demonstrating equipment, customer quotations, sales follow up, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related administrative/support role.
  • Knowledge of Sports Fields & Grounds industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed planned sales goals for whole goods and parts.
  • Continuously prospect new and existing accounts to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, public sports fields, and city/county/state accounts.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and quotes.
  • Demonstrate new products and train end-users on proper operation.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: quoting, order entry, delivery, and post-delivery follow-up.
  • Track activity and maintain account information in Salesforce and Toro Extranet.
  • Develop and maintain a territory plan with regular reporting to the Sales Director.
  • Collaborate with Field Service Advisors, Service Managers, and dealer partners.
  • Stay aware of competitor products, pricing, and programs.
  • Represent Wesco Turf at trade shows and industry events.
  • Maintain company assets (vehicle, laptop, cell phone, demo equipment).
