About The Position

The Territory Manager - Specialty Products at SRS Building Products is tasked with driving strategic sales growth and establishing robust stakeholder relationships across their assigned territory. Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales management role within the building materials industry, with a strong preference for experience in specialty products.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitor activities within the building supply sector.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively, negotiate persuasively, and cultivate strong business relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Excellent analytical skills with the capability to evaluate market data, assess performance metrics, and derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Acumen: Results-oriented mindset with proven capability in driving sales growth and achieving sales targets within a competitive market environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Formulate and execute detailed sales strategies to meet or surpass corporate objectives, identifying and capitalizing on emerging markets while staying informed of new products and competitive landscapes.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, builders, contractors, and distributors, to enhance the market presence of SRS Building Products' Specialty Products.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and potential threats, converting these insights into proactive sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate territory performance against predetermined sales targets and KPIs, initiating necessary adjustments to ensure the attainment of sales goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service to facilitate seamless operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Product Expertise: Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the company's specialty products, offering expert advice and insights to clients to foster sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Reporting: Produce and present thorough sales reports and strategic insights to senior management, contributing to informed decision-making and fostering business expansion.
