The Territory Manager, Service Sales – Hartford, CT will be responsible for overseeing a multi‑state territory that includes Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, with primary emphasis on the Greater Hartford market and surrounding areas. This position is in the Industrial Filtration Services division, with a focus on selling Donaldson equipment services, parts and Preventative Maintenance service plans. This opportunity is great for someone with previous outside sales experience who is looking to work for an industry leader. Donaldson is looking for a highly organized, self-driven individual that has the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment. This is a unique opportunity to join a focused and growing business. This is a remote position, but ideal candidates will reside preferably in or near the greater Hartford area and must be able to commute up to 70%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years of direct sales experience OR High School diploma 5+ years of direct sales experience
  • TRAVEL: Up to 70%

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement a successful territory business strategy to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Promotes and sells services directly to current and new end customers.
  • Provide post-sale customer support to ensure expectations were met.
  • Build and advance current customer relationships and provide product training to maximize sales.
  • Build and advance current Donaldson dealer/contractor network partnerships to expand outside service support to drive sales.
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Donaldson sales teams and corporate initiatives to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Utilize all CRM and approved sales tools.
