Our company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager - Outside Sales Associate - Bilingual English/Spanish (South Florida) The Position Territory Manager – Outside Sales - Bilingual English/Spanish (South Florida) The Opportunity American Metals Supply is a rapidly expanding metals distributor headquartered in Tampa. We are built on deep industry expertise and a mission to deliver the best aluminum products and service in the Southeast. As we continue our market growth across Florida, Texas, and the Carolinas, we are looking for a Territory Manager to own the South Florida market. This is a remote, field-based role for a "hunter" who thrives on building a book of business from the ground up while nurturing high-value existing accounts. If you have a background in building materials and are ready to drive growth in the patio and industrial sectors, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction or building materials sales - highly preferred (industrial metal knowledge is a major plus).
  • Territory Mastery: A resident of the South Florida area with the ability to travel daily within the territory (with occasional overnight stays as required).
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and CRM software to track your pipeline and performance.
  • Resilience: The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and turn "no" into "not yet."
  • Grit: perseverance and passion to achieve long-term goals…motivation to succeed!

Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth: Identify and secure new business through aggressive prospecting, cold calling, and networking throughout the South Florida area.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a subject matter expert, delivering persuasive presentations on aluminum applications for industrial and patio projects.
  • Manage Your Territory: Execute a strategic sales plan to expand our footprint while providing white-glove service to existing clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to help shape our regional sales strategy.
  • Close with Confidence: Lead negotiations on pricing and contracts to consistently meet and exceed your sales targets.
