About The Position

The Territory Manager for Landscape & Grounds is responsible for the performance of the outside sales for their assigned accounts and management of the selling activities of STI LPG Account Executives assigned to them. This position is to be based in the Greensboro, North Carolina market and is responsible for the entire state of North Carolina.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business / Management discipline or relevant green industry experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills
  • 4 or more years of managerial experience including leadership, recruitment, issue resolution, team motivation and team building preferred
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in landscape and irrigation industry preferred
  • Outstanding communication in all forms, leadership skills
  • Understand and can execute strategic sales plans
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, such as debits, credits, accounts receivable/payable and budgets
  • Expert level knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, central control systems, drainage and landscape products and practices
  • Excellent understanding of product inventory management
  • Overnight travel requirement: Mostly constrained to be within the State of North Carolina and estimated to be less than 30%.
