Territory Manager - Homebuilders

About The Position

Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and Edmonson Electric, divisions of IES Residential, Inc., are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with residential homebuilder accounts throughout the Jacksonville and Orlando markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales and account management, along with a solid understanding of the construction, electrical, or mechanical contracting industries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or account management experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Regular travel is required throughout the Jacksonville and Orlando territories, along with occasional travel for meetings, training, or company events.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience within construction, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical contracting industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, or plumbing systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential homebuilders; serve as the primary point of contact to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic plans to grow territory revenue and market share.
  • Conduct regular job site visits to assess needs, present solutions, and provide on-site support.
  • Stay current on services, industry trends, and competitors to effectively educate clients and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, deliver quotes, and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals.
  • Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide performance and market reports.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; provide insights to support business strategy.
