Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years B2B outside sales experience.
  • Able to meet vendor credentialing requirements for all healthcare systems (including COVID-19 vaccine).
  • Must be insurable and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must reside within territory, southeast Michigan or Toledo, OH areas preferred.
  • Required overnight travel is 0 nights per month, on average, to cover territory that includes southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.
  • Required to travel outside assigned territory for annual sales meeting, regional meetings and in person training, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage the business in your territory to promote the Verathon GlideScope® product line.
  • Execute sales strategies and techniques to realize sales opportunities identified in the Total Available Market (TAM) segmentation and analysis.
  • Generate new business and maintain existing business by understanding the needs, building rapport, and influencing customers.
  • Deliver presentations to customers including creative solutions to their problems.
  • Manage relationships with key customer stakeholders like Clinical Nursing, C-suite Executives, Administration, and BioMed contacts.
  • Generate a high volume of sales activity by in-person prospecting, product evaluations, proposal generation, customer presentations, and negotiations.
  • Forecast business potential to ensure sales pipeline supports the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Learn new industry and market information to adapt to shifts in market demand and strategy.
  • Engage in strategic business planning and execution and provide accurate and thorough sales reporting to leadership.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $65,000.
  • Additional Commission Potential: $90k-$120k (Actual commission may be lower or higher depending on quota attainment).
