Territory Growth Sales Representative (Hunter Role) Residential HVAC & Plumbing New Construction | Light Commercial HVAC South Metro – Minnesota Company Overview We are a $30M+ family-owned HVAC and plumbing contractor with more than 50 years of success. As part of our strategic expansion into the South Metro, we are investing in a dedicated hunter-style sales role focused on residential new construction and targeted commercial HVAC growth. The Opportunity This role is designed for a true hunter—someone who excels at opening doors, building relationships with builders and general contractors, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. You will be supported by internal estimators and operations teams so you can focus on growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction-related sales experience preferred
  • Proven success in a hunter or territory growth role
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Comfortable working in a developing market
  • High accountability and self-motivation

Responsibilities

  • Develop new builder, developer, and GC relationships in the South Metro
  • Drive residential new construction HVAC and plumbing opportunities
  • Pursue small to mid-sized commercial HVAC projects
  • Own the front-end sales cycle from prospecting to handoff
  • Maintain pipeline discipline using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams
