About The Position

Sportiqe is adding driven and experienced Territory Development Sales Reps to our team for 2026 to cultivate strategic partnerships within your assigned territory. You'll serve as a brand consultant, helping clients understand how our premium apparel solutions can enhance their customer experience and brand positioning; targeting mid-sized to enterprise-level businesses in sports, music, travel and corporate. This is a hunter role. You'll build your territory from the ground up through relentless prospecting and relationship development. Success means consistently filling your pipeline with qualified prospects who see the value in premium apparel partnerships. With new fall and spring collections launching bi-annually, you'll maintain consistent touchpoints with your network, educating clients on new offerings and identifying fresh opportunities to serve their evolving brand needs. This isn't transactional sales—it's brand partnership. You'll work with discerning clients who understand quality and are willing to invest in products that elevate their brand. Our 19-year track record speaks to the lasting relationships we build, quality of our products, and white glove service backed by our 100% comfort guarantee. This role reports to the Director of Sales and is a full-time salary + commission role. The Territory Development Sales Rep works out of our Tempe, AZ office; but the territory may be out-of-state. Strong skills with written and virtual communication are key. About 10% travel annually to your selected territory is required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful prospecting-heavy sales with demonstrated ability to build territory from minimal existing relationships; preferably in B2B wholesale, or apparel related sales.
  • Resilient and Positive. You can handle rejection, stay composed during negotiation, and have a proven track record of meeting metrics month after month.
  • You are determined and motivated. You take initiative; you don’t sit and wait for leads to come to you and have a track record of converting cold prospects into loyal clients through persistent, value-driven outreach.
  • Natural relationship builder who thrives on understanding client needs and positioning solutions that create genuine value
  • Strong ability to build rapport. Strong questioning and listening skills to uncover client pain points and position premium solutions effectively.
  • You are comfortable with activity based success metrics including # of touches, discovery calls, and pipeline development.
  • Experience in solution-selling environments where you identify problems first, then present tailored recommendations.
  • Comfortable with longer sales cycles typical of premium products—you understand that quality relationships take time to develop.
  • CRM experience, and tech/software savvy. Proficient in Google Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales and organizational tools. Zoho experience a plus!
  • You have the ability to travel about 10% as well as proven experience working in remote and distributed teams in a regional or territory sales model.

Nice To Haves
