We manufacture wheelchair lifts for automobiles, stair lifts for the home, and residential and commercial vertical platform lifts. We sell to dealers and to the government. Ultimately our products give people access to their homes and allow them to become more mobile. Our purpose and reason for existence is helping people. The way we say that is “We Lift Lives”. We are looking for people who want to join a great team. This role is part of our sales team, working with an established book of dealer partners.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the selling of Harmar products to Mobility/Access providers, buying groups, and industry groups in accordance with company objectives and policies.
  • Maintain and grow current business in the assigned territory meeting or exceeding company objectives that are determined on a yearly basis.
  • Travel up to 60% including weekends.
  • Develop specific all pattern for entire territory; (North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, W. Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland & Delaware).
  • Develop new business in assigned territory by finding new customers and adding new product lines to existing customers.
  • Maintain and grow specific target accounts that may be assigned to each Territory Manager.
  • Train and educate each customer and customer’s associates on entire product line, marketing programs and advertising programs.
  • Use relationship selling and assist customers in helping to grow their business with Harmar products.
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.
  • Work with Credit Manager with any credit issues that may exist in the territory.
  • Manage and maintain any sample inventory of products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidate must live in territory, preferably within one hour of major airport.
